The man and his music
The Swiss composer Frank Martin (1890-1974) is considered one of the most important composers of the 20th century, and his works are known for their deep spiritual expressiveness and innovative harmonies. In our concert to mark the 50th anniversary of Martin's death, we will focus on the little gems of his choral repertoire and explore where his musical roots lie and how his musical language developed. Additional multimedia elements will not only portray the composer, but also the man Frank Martin.
On 14 September 2024, we will also celebrate the release of our new CD about Frank Martin, which will be released on the Claves Records label.
