Theater Neumarkt

Follow organizer

In the heart of Zurich's charming old town, Neumarkt, under the direction of Hayat Erdoğan, Tine Milz and Julia Reichert, has been reinventing itself as Switzerland's smallest four-venue theatre since 2019.

Playground stands for artistic experimentation, open experimental arrangement and playful interventions.

Theatre stands for different ways of working and producing and new performance formats.

Academy stands for the exploration and questioning of knowledge, the world and thinking in sensual formats.

Digital stands for the Internet as a stage for pre- and post-performances, as a space for transmedial storytelling, as a cross-border format (geographically as well as ideationally) and as a stage for further extraordinary situations.
