With around 2100 Bachelor's and Master's students, the Zurich University of the Arts is one of the leading art colleges in Europe. The diverse study and research programme encompasses the fields of art education, design, film, fine arts, music, dance, theatre and transdisciplinarity.
In the university's own theatre, concert, dance and exhibition spaces, the subjects and results of the education are made accessible to the public. For example, concerts take place almost daily in the concert halls and the Mehrspur music club, the cinema shows current productions and students can regularly be seen on stage in dance and drama performances in the Theater der Künste. In this way, the ZHdK contributes to the cultural offerings of the city and region of Zurich with over 600 events per year. A large part of the events are free of charge.
The campus aims to offer visitors, students and employees an environment that is as barrier-free as possible. Various improvements regarding accessibility in terms of mobility and visibility have been implemented and are constantly being expanded. We have compiled the most important information here for people with visual, mobility or hearing impairments
