National Future Day
From management to video technology, Gessnerallee provides students with insights into a wide range of career paths.
On National Future Day, the Gessnerallee is once again opening its doors this year to pupils aged between 10 and 13, giving them an insight into the various areas of work within a theatre.
In the morning, participants will learn how sound, lighting and video technology are used in the theatre, and will have the chance to try it out for themselves. After lunch together, they will attend a rehearsal and hear more about the artists’ work from the performers themselves. Afterwards, dramaturg Noa Winter will lead a short workshop on ‘Stim Toys’. And to round off the day, the pupils will have the opportunity to ask questions of theatre directors Kathrin Veser and Miriam Walther, technical director Piotr Rybkowski and head of production Anja Mayer.
The event is already fully booked. For all pupils who are also interested in the Gessnerallee: we’ll be back again next year!
