With her novel *Tal der Schwalben*, Seraina Kobler invites readers on a journey into the future: In a Switzerland where all towns have merged into a single megacity, the young scientist Alesch returns to his home village in the Alps. For his revolutionary – and dangerous – research could hold the key to solving the energy crisis. A novel exploring the question of where we belong and what remains when civilisation begins to falter. The event will be hosted by Georg Odermatt, who has conducted scientific research into glacier forefields and energy production in the Alps.
