‘Fireflies’

Book launch. Reading and discussion with Stefan Ineichen as part of ‘Zürich liest’.

Fireflies are indicators of areas where biodiversity is high and light pollution is low. Yet there is far more to fireflies than their glowing light – stories and legends from various cultures revolve around these fascinating creatures. In conversation with Dagny Gioulami, Stefan Ineichen offers a multi-layered insight into the world of fireflies and makes it clear that their disappearance represents a loss not only for the landscape and ecosystems, but also for the mind and heart.
