Tribute to John Lennon

War is over - if you want it

Revival in 2026 with new singers!

John Lennon was violently torn from life at the age of just 40. He, of all people, who made non-violence the central theme of his music. Music that still shines just as brightly today as it ever did: “Imagine all the people living life in peace – You may say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.”

With the Beatles’ meteoric rise, pop music became pop culture; with John Lennon, pop culture became a serious engagement with the here and now.

Alan (Daniel Rohr), now getting on in years, runs a small taxi company offering Beatles tours in New York. Business is slow, but Alan has plenty of stories to tell. He is aided in this by John Lennon’s great solo hits, such as ‘Imagine’, ‘Jealous Guy’ and ‘Whatever Gets You Through The Night’, as well as some iconic Beatles songs.

Nina Attal (“Tribute to Prince”), Tobias Carshey (“Tribute to Leonard Cohen”, “Tribute to Bruce Springsteen”, “Tribute to Queen” and many more) and Timo Meier (“Tribute to Queen”) perform Lennon’s songs, accompanied by brilliant musicians.
