Cactus Safari with Sara Dorn
Explore the world of succulents and their fascinating features at your own pace: an interactive tour for children aged 9 to 13 invites them to observe closely, solve puzzles and try things out. In the brochure, the fictional 11-year-old gardener’s daughter Sara Dorn guides the young explorers to the individual stations. There, they can solve tasks in a playful way on topics such as water storage, protection against evaporation and the practical uses of succulent plants.
The brochure (in German) for the self-guided tour is available in the foyer for 5 francs. A set of three is available for 10 francs.
For children who can read and write. With or without adult supervision.

The greenhouses are wheelchair accessible, but the corridors are narrow. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. In the building of the Water Police, Mythenquai 73 (+41 44 41243 65) there is a multi-functional and disabled toilet accessible without thresholds (fees CHF 1.- or Eurokey).
