The Longest Night

Storytelling with puppets

*The Longest Night*, the latest book by the Bleiburg-based writer Hugo Ramnek, tells of elderly parents and other mortals. Of loss and connection. Of the community of the living and the dead. Delia Dahinden’s puppets and Hugo Ramnek’s poems stand – no, float – in dialogue, telling of the presence of those who are absent, at once eloquent and silent. And it is precisely this that makes them so moving.
