‘Wings on your feet’
by Theatre Lilith
On stage, two elderly women. They talk about farewells, memories, fears and what remains. Direct and unvarnished. At once earthy and poetic, the play tells of upheavals and losses, but also of closeness, beauty and vitality. Old age is portrayed not as a farewell, but as an invitation to pause, let go and face life with courage and curiosity.
With ‘Flügel am Fuss’, Theater Lilith brings to the stage a poetic, thoughtful and humorous exploration of the final stage of life. The play was written by Silvia Planzer and Elvira H. Plüss and developed in collaboration with Ruth Oswalt.
