Steps: Beyond

Beyond is an energetic and poetic performance for everyone aged six and over. Six performers test boundaries and ultimately overcome them together. Each of them is an expert in a different discipline - from dance to acrobatics to pole dance. With the help of ladders of different sizes, they create a dynamic and unstable playing field for each other that is explored together. The members of Circumstances dance, climb, float and risk everything in the choreography by Belgian Piet Van Dycke.

Together, they explore their own and collective limits and playfully investigate how far they can go. The stage design plays a central role in this: the ladders become exciting players, but also a strong symbol of connection.

In this way, Beyond addresses an important and omnipresent theme: How can bridges be built and borders made to disappear as a result?
