Preview of "Gabin"
in the presence of Gabin Jourdel and director Maxence Voiseux
In the north of France, Gabin, the youngest of the Jourdel family, is set to take over his father’s butcher’s shop. Torn between family loyalty and a desire for a change, he has other dreams: to train a show cow, to become a dog breeder and to save his mother’s farm from bankruptcy. The film immerses us in this boy’s life, from the age of eight to eighteen.
