Four performances that show how bodies use movement to find ways of engaging with the environment, with themselves and with the past.

Resonance rather than rigidity

What if the crises of the present were to make us not just reflect, but vibrate? The extended reality performance World in Vibration by the collective pulp.noir turns this question into a walk-through experiment. Visitors meet the ‘Anonymous Crisis-Weary’, put on VR headsets and immerse themselves in an interactive world of images and sound. Come and experience this different relationship with the world for yourself.

The Art of Making a Comeback

A comeback is never a return to the way things were. In the play of the same name, Eugénie Rebetez draws on her own (stage) experiences to develop a character who wants it all yet is in danger of being overwhelmed by it all; who seeks the carefree spirit of youth whilst finding herself increasingly confronted with responsibility. Dance, song and text come together to form a personal score about carrying on, letting go and starting afresh. A magnificent one-woman show.

Memories dance

In *Fat Man Dancing*, Andreas Storm draws on his own early experiences of dance as a starting point: as a child, he used to choreograph routines to the music on his sister’s records; later, the dancefloor became a place of escape, euphoria, self-empowerment and connection. His solo takes him back to his beginnings and explores what happens when we move to music. It deals with body image, age, queerness and grief.

When anger takes flight

Two angels land in an office and, to start with, turn everything upside down. In anger angels (ETERNAL LETDOWN), Teresa Vittucci and Sophía Rodríguez confront the anger of women and femme people through movement, voice, humour and irony. Keyboards and hole punches become musical instruments, invented languages turn into song, and everyday office life transforms into a quirky theatrical world. This is by no means about appeasing anger, but rather about creating space for it as a potential force for change and healing. An evening full of anger – at least on stage.
