Theatre highlights in October 2023

The play "The Way Back" by British playwright Dennis Kelly hits right at the heart of our times. It illuminates current social issues and plays with the idea that history is ultimately an eternal cycle.

The ensemble metanoia performs the sociocratic opera "das geklaute gehör" at the Walcheturm art space. It tells the true story of Mamoru Samuragochi, who pretended to be deaf and celebrated great success with the music of his ghost writer. The piece reflects on our own ideas of artistic work and authorship and questions the ensemble's forms of collaboration.

"EN MI IMPERIO PERREO SOLA" by Daniela Ruocco counters the sexist and violent reggaeton music world with a glamorous, feminist alternative. A blast of Latinex poetry, performance and concert-like mass.
