Ilir Pinto

Ilir Pinto finds in culture an outlet to escape the hectic everyday life. He loves anything that tells a story. His favourite books are classics of world literature, but he also reads contemporary novels, philosophical works and history books. But his reading also includes newspapers and magazines. He also collects vinyl records and enjoys many different genres of music, from alternative rock, (synth-)pop and electronic to folk. He often visits art houses and museums and is passionate about both Renaissance and contemporary art. And he also likes films a lot, especially independent films. The 29-year-old successfully completed his diploma in journalism at the MAZ in Lucerne in March 2023, together with a traineeship at the Zofinger Tagblatt, and currently works as a freelance journalist in the field of culture. He lives in Zurich.
