Theatre tips for March

This month, Zurich's theatre scene offers (alpine) dreams, feminist, digital and much more.

A curtain of razor blades

The sogartheater will be showing Hansjörg Schertenleib's new play at the beginning of March, which questions the relationship between the generations in a moving story. Only a few tickets are still available for 2 March!

Body of fear

Les Mémories d'Héléne brings an ongoing research project on fears to the stage. They merge experimental sound, visuality and physical performance into a synaesthetic (nightmare) dream.

Be a stone

In a co-production with Theater Marie, the Kellertheater Winterthur presents a live cosmos with encounters between the human and non-human worlds. They experience a total solar eclipse, visit floating islands and teach a stone to speak.

To accompany the play text, there will be a performance evening with Winterthur author Julia Toggenburger on 13 March.

The HORA theatre in Winterthur is staging another production. They look at the play based on Bertolt Brecht from their own perspective and think about the aspects of having children, having children and losing children.

Then make some lemonade, bitch

The new play by Kim de l'Horizon is visiting the Winkelwiese Theatre for a short time only. It deals with current discourses in a game in which fantastic creatures are trapped in the side arm of a monster's stomach and have to escape from it using various competition formats.
