Theaterhighlights im November

In the rainy autumn, it's wonderful to go to the theatre. The choice is large and varied. My tips for November.

For big and small

Big theatre for little people can be found, for example, at the Figurentheater Winterthur. In the play "MINIMUM". For half an hour, colourful, simple stories are told to children from the age of 3. This is how children experience their first theatrical moments.

The Monti Circus is back in town and enchants young and old with fascinating artistic skills. For the whole of November, you can marvel at the fantastic artists' studio in the Monti Manege.

For those parents who would like to go to the theatre again but can't find childcare, there is an ideal solution at the Schauspielhaus: the double play. Parents visit the theatre while their children, supervised by theatre educators, play and romp along with the production. This month there is a double play for Leonie Böhm's production of Johanna.

MASTER PROJECTS

Two master's students of the ZhdK show their diploma productions. In "My heart goes BOOM or Timing is the answer" four performers experiment with different forms of togetherness and play with rhythm in collective expression. "Lonely, how to go on" is a clownish play about loneliness with all its facets.

From young people

The winner of the Young Sailors Young Talent Award sails by the Kulturkeller LaMarotte in November and shows her moving autobiographical solo performance. Yüksel Esen tells of becoming a woman and being a woman against the background of her overlapping cultures of origin.

What is it actually, love? What am I looking for? What am I prepared to give? Who determines all this? These are the questions the young amateurs try to answer in the play "SING ME A LOVE SONG". A play by young people for young people from the age of 14.

A human being enters the stage. And now? 30 young people show on the Peacock Stage what can and could happen. "Jetzt Jetzt" plays five more times in November and for the last time on 2 December. On 17 November, there will also be a screen-printing event where you can print the "jetzt, jetzt, jetzt" logo on the shirts you bring along yourself!
